We can mainly determine whether the product you buy is biodegradable or compostable from the following two aspects?
1. From the appearance, the natural color of pla compostable packaging bags are translucent, and the bags are usually printed with fonts such as Compostable, or relevant environmental symbols, such as TUV ,BPI logo and so on.
2. In terms of degradability, biodegradable or compostable products can be decomposed into CO2 and water by microorganisms within 6 months under composting conditions, which can be seen from the compostable certificates provided by suppliers, such as BPI, TUV, EN 13432 and so on!
